About Diversified Physical Therapy
Our 10,000-square-foot building provides private treatment rooms, a large gym area, a full therapy pool, an unloaded walking system, and a functional training room.
Lisa Rau, MSPT, MCMT, CKTP
Lisa is owner and operator of Diversified Physical Therapy. She has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. She also has an extensive education through Michigan State University on muscle energy techniques of the spine, pelvis, and extremities; CranioSacral techniques; vestibular rehabilitation; exercise prescription; joint mobilization; and myofascial techniques. Lisa is also educated on manual techniques through North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Lisa is certified in manual therapy, kinesio taping techniques and Tool Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, STM-1.
Kelly Mills, MSPT
Kelly has her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. She has worked the majority of her career in outpatient physical therapy and part time in home care physical therapy.
Kelly continues to educate herself through different continuing education courses such as manual therapy, CranioSacral therapy, and myofascial techniques. She also has her certification in LSVT-BIG program for Parkinson’s.
Sheri Karst, OTR/L, CHT, CLT
Sheri graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. In 2005, she obtained her certification as a hand therapist. Sheri is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapy. She has been a member of the Diversified Physical Therapy team for the past 12 years. In 2012, Sheri became certified in complete decongestive therapy to treat those with lymphedema.
Landon Reed MS, OTR/L, CEAS-1
Landon specializes in hand therapy and worker’s compensation rehab where he has attained significant continuing education hours. Landon is a member of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association work and industry and hand therapy special interest section.
He has experience in upper extremity orthopedic and post-surgical care and fabricating custom hand orthotics. Landon is also educated in Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), development of work hardening programs, and ergonomics with a level 1 certification as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
Angie Schwartz, MA, ATC, LMT, CAFS
Angie is a Certified Athletic Trainer with a master’s degree in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical and Health Education / Sports Medicine from Saginaw Valley State University. She has been a member of the Diversified Physical Therapy and Diversified Fitness Club team since 1999. Her expertise includes CranioSacral therapy, personal training, athletic training, and metabolic therapy.
Julie Felten, ATC
Julie graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. She has been a board-certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 1999 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Julie is also the Athletic Trainer at Frankenmuth High School.
Sara Keller, ATC, CAFS
Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Central Michigan University. She is also a certified athletic trainer. She has experience in educational, (Reese High School Athletic Trainer), industrial (General Motors), and clinical settings. Sara has 15 years of experience in the physical therapy field and has been with Diversified Physical Therapy since 2007. She is actively involved with our metabolic treatment weight loss program. She is also in charge of our Aftertrack Program, which transitions patients from Diversified Physical Therapy to Diversified Fitness Club. She enjoys helping members improve their quality of life through fitness education and exercise.
Christine Applin, LPTA, COTA/L, CLT
Christine graduated from the Mott College dual track program receiving degrees in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant as well as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. In addition, Christine is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and has completed Craniosacral Therapy 1 and 2 through the Upledger Institute. She joined Diversified Physical Therapy Specialists in 2012 and is very appreciative to be part of a great therapy team. Christine thoroughly enjoys helping clients achieve their therapy goals and improve functional performance of daily activities.
Cathy Denay, LPTA
Cathy graduated as a physical therapy assistant in 1989 from Delta College. Cathy has extensive continued education with CranioSacral therapy and manual therapy, as well as myofascial release techniques. She also has years of experience working with head injury patients. Cathy enjoys working with clients of all ages while utilizing her manual skills. Cathy has been with Diversified Physical Therapy since we opened in 1994.
Robin Demski, LPTA, CLT
Robin graduated from Delta College in 1983 with a degree in Applied Science in Physical Therapy. She has continued her education to become a certified lymphedema therapist from the University of Wisconsin.
Renae Roth, LPTA
Renae graduated from Baker College with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy in 1996. She has been working as a physical therapy assistant since that time and joined Diversified Physical Therapy in 2000.
Jamie Bleisner, LPTA
Jamie graduated from Mott Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in Physical Therapy. She has been with Diversified Physical Therapy since 2001.
Ashley graduated from Delta College in 2015 with an Associate in Medical Office Practices. She graduated from Baker College with her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Health Service Administration. She holds certifications in medical coding and billing claims as well as office administration.
Floyd has been with us since we opened the doors in 1994. He is responsible for the beautiful flowers that you see coming into our facility. There isn’t anything he can’t fix!
